The BMW Australian PGA Championship is just around the corner and this year the stakes have never been higher courtesy of popular online bookmaker Dabble.

The Dabble Million-Dollar Hole-in-One is returning to the legendary par-3 17th hole at Royal Queensland Golf Club, where one flawless swing could unlock a life-changing reward.

After the electric finish in 2024, the million-dollar prize is back on Saturday November 29 during round three. And here’s the twist that makes this event truly unique: if a pro nails the ace, the $1 million prize will be shared by spectators on-site who are registered.

“We’re thrilled to welcome Dabble back to the BMW Australian PGA Championship,” said PGA of Australia CCO Michael McDonald.“The Dabble Million-Dollar Hole-in-One created so much excitement last year, and with fans sharing in the prize, the 17th hole is going to be an absolute cauldron of energy. On day three, our spectators won’t just be cheering for their favourite players—they will be cheering for themselves.”

The 17th, known as the Dabble Party Hole, is a fan favourite, featuring a stadium-style setup, music, entertainment and a capacity for around 8,000 fans. This year, the party is set to be louder and more colourful than ever.

Dabble’s CMO Emilie Jirsch said:

“At Dabble, we love making sport more social and more fun. There’s nothing more exciting than the chance for everyone at Royal Queensland on day three to share in a million-dollar moment. We saw how close the pros came last year, and we’re ready for someone to nail that ace in 2025.”

How It Works

  • Any professional player who sinks a hole-in-one on the 17th during tournament play between 11am and 4pm (AEDT) will trigger the $1 million prize.
  • The prize will be shared among registered spectators on-site.
  • Attendees can register via a QR code at the event.

The tournament - co-sanctioned by the DP World Tour and the Challenger PGA Tour of Australasia - runs from November 27–30, 2025.

With stars including Adam Scott, Cam Smith, Min Woo Lee, Joaquin Niemann and Ryan Fox already confirmed, plus unique fan experiences like the Dabble Million-Dollar Hole-in-One, this year’s championship promises to be the biggest and most exciting yet.
